Job description

We partner with leading manufacturing companies in Jenison, seeking experienced Reliability Engineers to strengthen their teams., * Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

  • Develop and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, failure patterns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement reliability-centered design changes and engineering solutions to enhance asset performance.
  • Establish and monitor key reliability metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE, availability).
  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for critical manufacturing assets.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment uptime and asset life cycle costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other reliability methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
  • Strong understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and asset lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems for maintenance planning and data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
  • Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement projects
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification
