Job description

Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for excelling in reliability engineer? The Pivot Group is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and supporting career growth. We are collaborating with companies in Muskegon seeking experienced Reliability Engineers., * Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

  • Optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs to improve asset uptime.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, bad actors, and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies to define optimal maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement projects, focusing on long-term asset health.
  • Establish and monitor key reliability metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to track performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on design for reliability and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing reliability or maintenance role.
  • Proficiency in reliability methodologies (e.g., RCA, FMEA, RCM).
  • Experience with condition monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving equipment failures.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems and reliability metrics.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis or automation.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
