Job description

Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in reliability engineer? The Pivot Group is dedicated to building meaningful connections in the manufacturing community. We are collaborating with companies in Cadillac seeking experienced Reliability Engineers., * Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recurring issues.

  • Develop and optimize Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PdM/PM) programs.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for critical assets.
  • Track and report key reliability metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.
  • Support the design and commissioning of new assets to ensure inherent reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and training on reliability best practices to maintenance and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a reliability engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in applying reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, and RCA.
  • Hands-on experience with predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems and data analysis for identifying equipment trends and optimizing maintenance strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI) for predictive modeling
  • Experience with Digital Twin or IoT integration for asset health monitoring
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
