Job description

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excelling in reliability engineer? The Pivot Group is committed to fostering meaningful relationships and supporting community growth. We are collaborating with leading companies in Portage seeking Reliability Engineers to lead and enhance their operations., * Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

  • Optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) strategies for critical assets.
  • Develop and implement Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) programs.
  • Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
  • Analyze equipment performance data (e.g., MTBF, MTTR) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide reliability input for new equipment design, selection, and commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain asset criticality rankings and spare parts strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in reliability methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Experience with predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, or oil analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions for asset reliability.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and scripting
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning applications for predictive maintenance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
