What you'll need:
As an Associate Director-Network Technical Support, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team in ensuring the reliability and continuous operation of AT&T's Optical, IP Core, Mobility, and advanced communication technologies through 24x7 technical support, fault and lifecycle management, and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end services.
An experienced professional manages operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically, leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
The selected candidate will lead a 24x7 Network Operations team supporting CALEA (lawful intercept), Location Based Services (LBS), and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). This role oversees internal operations and 3rd party service providers to ensure service availability, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of incident response, service restoration, and root cause analysis. Serves as a primary interface between enterprise customer care, product/engineering support, public safety stakeholders, and external partners. Drives partner compliance with SLAs and operational readiness across CALEA/LBS/WEA platforms.
