Job description
Buffalo IT Services is looking for a reliable, motivated IT Support Technician to provide both on-site and remote support for our clients. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working directly with end users, and supporting real-world business IT environments., * Provide on-site and remote technical support for end users

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals

Assist with network equipment including firewalls, switches, and access points

Support Microsoft 365, email systems, backups, and basic security tools

Perform light website-related tasks when needed, including content updates and basic troubleshooting

Document work completed and maintain clear, organized service notes

Travel to client locations as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided

Have the ability to self manage, Workstations (Windows/macOS) Networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs) Printers and scanners Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace VoIP phone systems Servers or NAS devices

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding major holidays. Does this schedule work for you?
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, Wi-Fi, and switching
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate clearly with users
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively, * Experience supporting dental office IT systems, including practice management software, imaging systems, and on-site hardware
- Familiarity with dental office environments and workflows
- Basic web experience, including WordPress, simple website edits, or general web knowledge
- Previous MSP or tier 2 MSP experience
