Job description

  • Plan and execute all System Administrative tasks related to ServiceNow MidServer operations.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MidServer instances across the enterprise environment.
  • Monitor MidServer health, connectivity, and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Support Discovery configurations and ensure MidServer-based integrations function reliably.
  • Administer Unix/Linux server environments supporting the MidServer infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with CMDB and Discovery teams on probe configuration and data feeds.
  • Maintain documentation for MidServer configurations and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure MidServer security patching compliance with federal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, engineering or other engineering or technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education for a total of 13+ years of relevant experience).
  • 5+ years total relevant experience (can be inclusive of below experience requirements)
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow administration experience.
  • 1+ year of ServiceNow MidServer administration experience.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux server administration.
  • Understanding of network protocols and connectivity relevant to MidServer operations.
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Experience in a federal IT environment
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Impactful team player who looks to enable the team to the end goal
