Job description
The IT Financial Analyst will support a high-volume IT finance function, managing vendor financials, purchase orders, invoices, and reporting related to large-scale IT initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations for IT vendors, including SOWs and agreements
- Set up and track Purchase Orders (CapEx vs. OpEx; software vs. resources)
- Monitor spend and projections within ERP systems
- Track and reconcile invoices in partnership with Accounts Payable
- Run financial reports to monitor expenditures and accruals
- Perform GL break analysis, reconciliations, and support GAAP accounting tasks
- Extract data from ERP systems and manipulate/report in Excel
- Create charts, graphs, and draft PowerPoint presentations for leadership
- Support financial tracking for major IT initiatives (e.g., ERP/EHR projects)
Requirements
- Must-Haves:
- 4-6 years of IT Financial Analyst experience
- Proven experience supporting IT financials, including IT agreements, SOWs, POs, and vendor spend tracking
- Hands-on ERP experience (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
- Experience setting up and tracking purchase orders and managing projections
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
- Experience reconciling spend between AP and vendors
- Experience in enterprise, fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Workday ERP experience
- Experience supporting Epic or large-scale EHR implementations
- Healthcare or hospital industry experience
- Experience creating executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting, accruals, and reconciliations
