IT Financial Analyst

The IT Financial Analyst supports the client's IT finance team by managing vendor financials, purchase orders, and spend tracking across large-scale IT initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations for IT projects and vendor engagements
• Set up and track purchase orders (CapEx vs. OpEx; software vs. resources)
• Monitor invoices and ensure timely payment in coordination with Accounts Payable
• Track expenses and projections within ERP systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft)
• Run financial reports and perform variance analysis for the general ledger
• Support accruals, reconciliations, and basic GAAP accounting activities
• Manipulate and analyze data in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting)
• Create summary reports and presentation materials for leadership
• Partner with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure accurate spend tracking

• Must-Haves:

• 4-6 years of experience supporting IT financial operations
• Direct experience working with IT vendors, SOWs, contracts, and purchase orders
• Hands-on ERP experience (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
• Experience tracking expenses, forecasts, accruals, and reconciliations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Nice-to-Haves:

• Workday ERP experience
• Experience supporting healthcare IT environments
• Familiarity with large-scale EHR/ERP implementations (e.g., Epic)
• Experience creating charts/graphs and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
