Job description

We are seeking a Senior Data & BI Systems Analyst to support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP). This role is responsible for designing and developing data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across health programs. The ideal candidate combines strong ETL/data integration expertise (Informatica) with business intelligence and reporting skills (Tableau/Power BI) and the ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, data requirements, and reporting needs
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines using Informatica IICS
Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs
Support testing, deployment, and optimization of pipelines and dashboards
Work closely with program teams to enhance usability and adoption of reports
Analyze existing systems and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Document workflows, data mappings, and reporting logic
Ensure solutions align with system capabilities, performance, and scalability requirements

Requirements

8+ years of experience in BI reporting (Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools)
8+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/data integration (Informatica preferred)
Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large-scale data platforms (Snowflake preferred, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
4+ years of data analysis experience
Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
Experience building dashboards in both Tableau and Power BI
Familiarity with healthcare or public sector data environments (nice to have)
