Job description
Senior-level Network Engineer responsible for full lifecycle ownership of enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-location environment. This role leads design, implementation, optimization, security, and ongoing support of complex networks. Key Responsibilities
- Own LAN / WAN / WLAN / SDWAN & data center network architecture
- Manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and security infrastructure
- Lead network design (IP strategy, QoS, routing, capacity planning)
- Oversee monitoring tools (SolarWinds or similar)
- Minimize downtime through proactive troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Participate in vendor coordination, cost analysis, and budgeting
- Maintain documentation, standards, and SLA reporting

Pay Transparency Notice
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Requirements
- 7+ years enterprise network administration (multi-site)
- 4+ years senior-level experience
- Leadership experience required
- Strong firewall experience (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.)
Technical Environment
- Cisco enterprise infrastructure (Nexus, UCS, NX-OS)
- Advanced routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP)
- Network security (ACLs, VPNs, IPsec, Port Security)
- VMware, storage networking, multi-pathing
- Monitoring & performance tools
