Surveillance Implementation Specialist

We are looking for a senior, analytically strong professional to support and lead the on-site implementation and validation of a communications surveillance solution within one of our Tier 1 global financial institution clients in Zurich.

This role sits at the intersection of financial markets expertise, surveillance technology implementation, structured model validation, and client-facing delivery.

You will operate independently on-site, lead the structured integration of surveillance models into our platform architecture, translating and aligning client taxonomies, detection logic, and phrase structures with our proprietary detection framework to ensure analytical continuity and defensible migration, and maintain credibility with senior compliance and surveillance stakeholders.

This is a high-accountability implementation role requiring technical depth, financial domain grounding, and structured problem-solving capability., 1. Surveillance System Implementation

• 5 - 9 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience implementing surveillance, compliance technology, or RegTech systems
• Exposure to QA, model validation, or structured testing environments
• Background in financial services (sell-side strongly preferred)
• Experience working in client-facing or consulting-style environments
• Strong Domain understanding of: Market abuse (insider trading, front-running, manipulation), Information leakage and conduct risk typologies, Surveillance frameworks within financial institutions, Ability to translate behavioral risk scenarios into detection logic
• Technical & Analytical Capabilities: Experience analyzing rule-based or lexicon-based detection systems and strong root cause analysis capability
• Understanding of Basic NLP concepts (tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, phrase variation)
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-based surveillance concepts is an advantage
