Requirements

Must have strong hands-on knowledge of AWS platform and services but not limited to VPC, Networking, Direct Connect, Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, EC2, S3, IAM, ELBs, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EKS etc Client is seeking hands-on Platform Engineer with 10+ years IT experience, including 5+ years in AWS automation/administration and production-level EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) expertise-covering container orchestration, service mesh, and immutable infrastructure. All provisioning must be code-based; requires advanced proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, and Linux Bash scripting to automate end-to-end deployments, patching, and upgrades. Must have strong experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Git) to support microservices and serverless architectures on AWS. Must have worked healthcare systems with experience deploying systems in regulated environments (HIPAA, FedRAMP, or similar) with a focus on security guardrails, auditability, and adherence to compliance controls is essential. Responsible for the end-to-end deployment lifecycle-from architecture design and launch reviews to post-deployment reliability-while leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives and mentoring team members. Deep AWS networking skills (VPC, Direct Connect, NACLs, Security Groups) required to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant deployments on EKS and associated AWS services. AWS Cloud Certification Required Minimum one required (e.g., AWS Certified Systems Architect Associate/Professional) AWS production deployment and EKS expertise, backed by deep proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK), Python, and Linux automation.
