Job description

As a Director, IT here at Honeywell, you will serve as the visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing the entire IT strategy with a focus on university relations. This role demands exceptional strategic thinking, team leadership, and a deep understanding of the Aerospace organization's mission and goals. You will be managing the IT University Relations strategy and programs domestically and globally. You will direct a team of IT professionals, ensuring that the organization's technology university relations initiatives align with its strategic objectives and foster partnerships with educational institutions., You will report directly to our Chief Information Officer and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule., + Develop and implement IT strategies that enhance collaboration with universities and educational institutions.

  • Lead a team of IT professionals to execute technology initiatives that align with business goals.

  • Manage relationships with educational partners to foster innovation and talent development.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in IT management and experience managing university relations strategy and programs

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security protocols.

  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools.

  • Experience with cloud technologies and enterprise software solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.

  • Proven track record in leading IT teams and managing complex projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
