Sr Director IT - Data Intake OCM

The Senior Director of AI & Data Intake Value and OCM is an enterprise-scale strategic leader accountable for the full lifecycle of AI and data initiatives - from intake and AOP planning through delivery governance, value realization, and sustained organizational adoption. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and change, ensuring that every AI and data initiative Honeywell Aerospace invests in is rigorously prioritized, properly resourced, measurably valuable, and successfully embedded in the business.

The leader in this role owns the enterprise AI & Data demand pipeline, drives DRIP-in (Demand-Roadmap-Intake-Prioritization) governance, leads ROI collation and business case development, and partners closely with delivery teams across data engineering, AI applied delivery, and enterprise architecture to ensure end-to-end execution quality. They also lead the Organizational Change Management (OCM) function for all AI and data programs - designing and executing adoption strategies that translate technical delivery into durable business capability.

Responsibilities Responsibilities:

AOP Planning & Enterprise AI Demand Management

• Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycle for all AI and data initiatives, ensuring alignment with STRAP, AOP, and sector digital transformation priorities.

• Build and maintain the enterprise AI & Data initiative portfolio - translating business requests into structured project intake with defined scope, value hypothesis, and resource demand.

• Develop and maintain a rolling 12-18 month AI roadmap synchronized with the AOS Committee prioritization cadence and sector president decision gates.

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT BRM, business functions (Lead-to-Cash, Order-to-Fulfillment, HR, Legal, Aftermarket) and the Data & AI delivery organization for initiative planning.

DRIP-In Governance (Demand * Roadmap * Intake * Prioritization)

• Design and operationalize the DRIP-in process as the standardized mechanism for how AI and data work enters, is evaluated, and gets scheduled within the enterprise.

• Establish intake criteria and scoring frameworks (business value, strategic fit, feasibility, risk) applied consistently across all incoming demand from business sponsors.

• Lead the AOS Committee intake preparation - structuring proposals, scoring demand against portfolio criteria, and supporting committee deliberation and prioritization decisions.

• Maintain a live prioritization registry visible to senior leadership and delivery teams, ensuring transparency across the portfolio backlog and active work-in-progress.

Value ROI Collation & Business Case Development

• Own the enterprise AI & Data ROI framework - maintaining the four-lens value model (Hard ROI, Soft ROI, Strategic Value, STRAP/AOP Gap closure) across all active and pipeline initiatives.

• Lead business case development for major AI and data investments, incorporating P10/P50/P90 risk-adjusted projections, TCO modeling, and J-curve cash flow analysis.

• Partner with Finance to co-develop value realization tracking mechanisms - ensuring AI investment outcomes are measurable, attributable, and reportable at the portfolio level.

• Produce quarterly AI portfolio performance reports for the ALT (Aerospace Leadership Team), including realized value vs. projected, variance explanations, and forward-looking adjustments.

• Build and maintain benefit realization plans for each initiative, defining clear value milestones, accountability assignments, and measurement cadences from project kick-off through steady state.

• Challenge and validate ROI assumptions submitted by delivery teams - acting as an independent voice of financial rigor within the AI & Data organization.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 12+ years of progressive experience in AI, data, digital transformation, or enterprise program leadership roles within large, complex organizations (Fortune 500 preferred).

• Demonstrated expertise in investment planning (AOP), portfolio prioritization, and demand management for technology or AI & data programs.

• Proven track record of leading Organizational Change Management at scale - including OCM methodology certification (Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience developing AI/data business cases, ROI models, and value realization frameworks in a CFO-grade financial rigor context.

• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management capability - comfortable influencing VP- and C-suite-level executives and navigating matrixed organizations.

• Experience working with or adjacent to AI/ML delivery teams - sufficient technical fluency to bridge business and engineering conversations without writing code.
