Information Technology Specialist

McCoy Credit Union is searching for a talented, enthusiastic individual to join our team. Our IT Specialist ensures our core banking systems function seamlessly, providing an exceptional experience for our members and supporting our Mission, Vision, and Values.

The IT Team is responsible for the health, security, and performance of all networks, systems, and endpoint hardware. The team provides professional technical support to all departments and branches across Orlando and the surrounding cities., * Systems Administration: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for all McCoy employees, ensuring high availability of core applications and hardware.

• Core Operations: Support the regular maintenance, monitoring, and backup of infrastructure systems. Assist in the optimization of the core banking environment.
• Data & Reporting: Utilize SQL to perform database queries and maintenance to ensure data integrity and assist with operational reporting.
• Deployment & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 Pro workstations, teller-line hardware, and secure peripheral devices.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Translate complex technical workflows into clear instructions for non-technical staff.
• Security & Compliance: Assist in maintaining a secure technical environment by monitoring endpoint protection, MFA, and ensuring adherence to financial regulatory standards.

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive IT experience in a high-security enterprise environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level troubleshooting of Windows 11 Pro and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Database Mastery: Functional knowledge of SQL for database management and system maintenance.
• Networking: Experience troubleshooting network equipment and IP networks (VPN, DNS, DHCP).

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a Credit Union or Banking environment is highly preferred.
• Direct experience with the Jack Henry (JHA) Banking Platforms (Symitar Quest, EASE) is a significant advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs. for rack-mounting and hardware deployment.
• Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between branches in Orlando and nearby cities.
• Must be available to work on some weekends and nights.
