Job description
The Computer Network Support Specialist is responsible for assisting and advising employees within the organization using computer software or equipment. He/she is also responsible for analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing network systems, such as, local area network (LAN) and Internet systems., Provide technical support to all departments connected to the mainframe
- Set up new computer systems, perform routine maintenance, and assist in application installs
- Maintain database optimization, backups, and monitor SQL for possible issues
- Coordinate changes for applications, process improvements and document changes
- Create and maintain Data Transformation Services (DTS)packages andscheduling
- Create process and work flow documentation
- Plan and maintain security for databases
- Identify and resolve hardware and software problems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required

0-3 years of related database administration experience

Knowledge and experience of the following computer applications: Solomon, VMware, NetApp, ERP System, CRM, SQL, visual basic, .net programming, and vb.net
