Job description

As a Technician 1,you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltagecabling infrastructure within a data center environment. This role involvesrunning cables, connecting wires, and ensuring proper installation of allinternal infrastructure. You will work under supervision, performing tasks withinstalled cables, and adhering to safety protocols. The position may requireworking both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined or elevated spaces,and interacting with customers to address concerns and provide support.

What You'll Do:

  • Installation/decommissioningof network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

  • Deliversustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.

  • Providestructured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.

  • Exhibitquality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

  • Followall production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

  • Collaboratewith various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

  • Readingand comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work., * Reportsto Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II,Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.

  • Capableof maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running service jobs.

  • Possessskill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable, andperform all type of terminations.

Requirements

Applicants must becurrently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visasponsorship now or in the future., + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Real Estate license if state preferred.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The minimum salary for the Meeting & Events Coordinator Assistant position is $24.03 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $25.96 per hour.
