Job description
A well-established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to take ownership of its critical network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in an environment that values autonomy, accountability, and high-quality engineering. You will play a key role in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security across manufacturing and enterprise systems. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will contribute to architectural decisions, continuous improvement initiatives, and long-term infrastructure strategy., * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across network infrastructure, systems, and platforms
- Perform proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure high network performance and reliability
- Install, configure, and administer enterprise network systems including Layer 3 switching, routers, VoIP, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and cloud-based services
- Operate independently while coordinating with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors when needed
- Support network design, equipment selection, and implementation strategies for scalable and resilient infrastructure
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities using appropriate tools and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend system improvements and upgrades

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 10 years of hands-on experience with enterprise network design, implementation, and administration
- Strong expertise in Layer 3 switching, routing, VoIP, wireless infrastructure, and network security principles
- Experience with Microsoft network services and related management tools
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of outcomes
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP/CCNE, MCSE
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
