Job description
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, affiliates, and joint venture partners.
- Provide front-end IT support including laptops, tablets, mobility solutions, IT service centers, printing, AV, and emerging technologies (AR/VR).
- Deliver back-end infrastructure support across data and voice networks, servers, storage, and facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across office, field, and manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with global IT teams, vendors, and managed service providers (MSPs) to execute support and project activities.
- Perform network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure system availability and performance.
- Support end-to-end project delivery, including procurement, staging, installation, and asset lifecycle management.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring adherence to corporate IT standards.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Provide user training, consulting, and productivity solutions to enhance business operations.
- Support emerging technologies such as industrial mobility, wireless systems, and process control interfaces.
- Coordinate onsite and remote support, including after-hours support on a rotational basis.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Travel as required to support operational and project needs., * Windows Server environments
- Enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.)
- Network technologies including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto
- Wireless and radio technologies (Motorola, Aviat)
- ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Cloud platforms: AWS and Azure
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, and telecommunications systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Hands-on expertise in TCP/IP networking, hardware troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
- Understanding of power, cooling, and backup systems in IT environments.
- Experience working in large or multinational organizations with global teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing environments.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern IT practices.
- Familiarity with next-generation networking technologies such as SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and SDP.
- Relevant certifications in networking or IT service management are a plus.
