Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Analyst Sr to manage and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. This role will focus on ensuring CMDB data accuracy, implementing Discovery and Service Mapping, and driving automation and process improvements., * Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness
- Implement and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping, and automation tools
- Conduct CMDB audits, data validation, and certification activities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for KPIs and CMDB health
- Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps, Solution Architects, Cyber Security, and stakeholders
- Manage CMDB backlog and perform configuration/development tasks
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Configuration Management / CMDB / ITSM
- Strong experience with CMDB data modeling and data quality management
- Hands-on experience with Discovery and Service Mapping tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience working in cross-functional environments
- Strong communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences), * Experience with AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (or similar ITSM/ITOM certification)
- ITIL Foundation Certification, * Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
