Data Center Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber OpticTechnician in Manassas, VA to serve as the primary "firefighter" for all data center operations within the city. This role requires a strong background in fiber optics, with expertise in OTDR testing, power meter usage, and splicing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data center environments, supporting Fortune 500 companies.

Do you have experience in Telecommunications cable splicing?, * Fluent in fiber optic testing and diagnostics, with OTDR proficiency as a top priority.

• Skilled in using power meters and performing fiber splicing.
• Strong fiber optic knowledge, with emphasis on single-mode and multi-mode fiber (as opposed to copper or Cat 5 cabling).
• Experience in data center environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues, acting as the go-to resource for all fiber-related emergencies.
