Job description

We are seeking Entry-Level Data Center Technicians to join a nationwide travel team supporting large-scale data center builds and infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn, especially those looking to break into the data center, low voltage, or structured cabling industry.

Technicians will travel to project sites across the U.S. for extended periods, supporting installation work and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing, high-demand field.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be based in Virginia
  • Must be willing to travel nationwide for extended periods (weeks to months at a time)
  • When not traveling, technicians will support local projects in VA / DC / MD
  • Initial assignment expected to be a long-term project out of state (Buffalo, NY), * Support data center installation projects
  • Assist with structured cabling installations (fiber and copper)
  • Pull, route, and secure fiber optic and Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
  • Assist with pre-terminated fiber installations
  • Perform cable management, labeling, and pathway builds
  • Follow direction from leads and maintain a clean, organized work environment, (Some PPE may be provided; technicians are responsible for maintaining required gear)

Requirements

  • Prior experience in construction, cabling, or trades is a plus, * Hard hat (Class C, Type II preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, * 401(k)
