Systems Administrator

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016-2022/2025) and/or Linux systems
• Administer Active Directory / LDAP, including user provisioning, group policy, and domain services
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
• Oversee virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
• Perform server patching, upgrades, backups, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across servers, storage, and network dependencies
• Support Azure or hybrid cloud environments
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed

• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Hands-on experience with M365 and virtualization technologies
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Scripting experience (PowerShell strongly preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a contract/consulting environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with server migrations, domain consolidations, or infrastructure upgrades
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
