Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure and data services. This role is ideal for a well-rounded technologist with experience across Windows/Linux systems, Microsoft cloud platforms, and automation, with the ability to contribute to system integrations and reporting initiatives.

You will work in a hybrid environment spanning on-premise and cloud systems, supporting critical infrastructure while helping drive modernization and efficiency through automation and data-driven solutions., * Manage and maintain Windows Server (2016-2025) and Linux (Red Hat) environments

Administer Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and LDAP environments
Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Oversee Azure infrastructure and virtualization platforms (Hyper-V)
Perform server patching, upgrades, backups, and system troubleshooting
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
Design and support integrations between enterprise systems (ERP, utility platforms, etc.)
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting (Power BI or similar tools)
Ensure system security, compliance, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA)
Document systems, processes, and procedures
Act as a technical advisor to internal stakeholders and project teams

Requirements

Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams
Server environments: Windows & Linux
Virtualization: Hyper-V (VMware exposure is a plus)
Identity & Access: Active Directory, Entra ID, IAM
Databases: SQL Server
Tools: Power BI, ServiceNow, automation/scripting tools
Infrastructure: Hybrid (on-prem + cloud)
Bonus: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Cayenta), GIS tools (e.g., ESRI), or utility systems, * 3+ years of progressive experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
Hands-on scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
Experience with system patching, backups, and troubleshooting
Strong documentation and communication skills
