The position of Technology Support Specialist II is for the purpose of providing tier 2 technology support to the Bellevue School District.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
- Responsible for tier 2 technology support via email, phone, other electronic medium, and in person
- Provides direct and indirect customer support for technology hardware and software through a tiered support model; to include staff, students and parents
- Ensure proper recording, documentation and ticket closure in ticket tracking system
- Responsible for creation and updating of technology related guides
- Assist with onboarding of new hires and laptop support
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports directly to and is supervised by Technology Support Manager
Requirements

Five years of experience in use of computers, peripheral devices, Microsoft software and related/similar operating systems

Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field Preferred:

Additional related experience may substitute for the educational requirements, * Knowledge of computer systems, hardware and peripherals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, and push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Benefits & conditions
CTSA Professional Technical salary classification "3" $ 81,834 to $ 86,141 annual salary (starting at $ 81,834 annual), 40 hours per week, for a 260-day annual assignment.
Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year. Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems. Other benefits include vacation and paid holidays.
