IT Systems Administrator - Coopersville Area job in Coopersville

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including virtualized environments and physical servers.
• Administer and support network devices, ensuring optimal performance and security of the LAN/WAN.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing systems, including SCADA, MES, and ERP integration.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and systems.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
• Document IT systems, procedures, and configurations for knowledge management and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and experience managing firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT) environments is a significant plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions under pressure.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies in an industrial setting.
• PLC programming or troubleshooting skills.
