Job description

  • Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Administer and support critical manufacturing applications and databases (e.g., MES, ERP, PLC systems).
  • Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability, responding to alerts and incidents.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and asset inventories.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an OT/IT converged environment.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) in a manufacturing context.
