Expert Software Engineer II

• Build elegant, scalable microservices using Node.js or .NET on Azure-bringing modern architectures, DDD principles and clean APIs to life.
• Shape the product, not just the code by partnering with product, design, QA and business teams to influence solutions from idea through customer impact.
• Own features end-to-end-from whiteboard to production-ensuring customers feel the value of what you've shipped.
• Champion engineering excellence through TDD, automated testing, code reviews, refactoring and hands-on mentorship.
• Continuously improve how we build by optimizing architecture, performance, observability and engineering practices.

• Abilities: Bring deep engineering craftsmanship-from strong TDD discipline and hands-on experience with unit/integration test automation, to proficiency in C#/.NET (with Node.js or similar frameworks a plus), to building cloud-native microservices/microfrontends with event-driven patterns, Azure SQL/CosmosDB integration, modern DevOps (CI/CD, containers, IaC), and the communication skills to collaborate across teams and translate complex engineering into clear business value.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience at a software product company (building software products sold to businesses or consumers); services/consultancy company backgrounds will only be considered if they involve product engineering in healthcare payments or similar domains.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
