Product Owner II

• Partner with product leadership to refine and support the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Ensure the product backlog aligns with strategic priorities and broader business goals
• Refine, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog to support seamless execution of work
• Build out features and user stories with a focus on value, clarity, and team alignment
• Balance production support, maintenance, enhancements, and new work in coordination with business stakeholders
• Perform business analysis activities to understand root causes, define requirements, and identify the underlying business need
• Serve as a primary liaison between development teams and business stakeholders at the feature and user story level
• Gather feedback and requirements from stakeholders, users, and business leaders to help shape solutions
• Collaborate with business partners to evaluate ideas, clarify problems, and support solution development
• Participate in sprint planning and ensure backlog items are clear, prioritized, and ready for development
• Review and accept completed stories to confirm they meet acceptance criteria and business intent
• Identify dependencies, impediments, and risks early and help drive resolution
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure upcoming sprints are prepared and objectives are clearly defined
• Continuously gather feedback and analyze outcomes to support product and process improvements
• Create and maintain process documentation and support materials
• Ensure product features and functionality align with user needs and deliver a strong user experience
• Assist with release planning and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support timely, quality delivery
• Define and use performance indicators and data insights to inform product decisions and measure success
• Champion Agile practices and actively participate in Agile ceremonies to support team effectiveness

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and clearly communicate business and user needs to delivery teams
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Agile software development experience required, * Familiarity with broader product and software development life cycles
• SAFe experience preferred
• Experience using KPIs, trend analysis, and data insights to guide product decisions
• Experience creating personas, user-focused visualizations, or interaction concepts to improve solution outcomes
