Job description
We are looking for a detail-driven Accounting Analyst to join a fast-paced, high-volume environment where data, systems, and financial insight intersect. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, focusing on analyzing financial data, improving processes, and leveraging systems to drive accuracy and efficiency. You'll work closely with accounting and operations teams to support critical financial functions while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting. - Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across systems
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel functions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and system efficiencies
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing accounting systems, tools, and reporting processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or accounting systems experience
- Strong foundation in reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, etc.)
- Proven ability to work with large, complex data sets
- Highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new tools quickly
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a high-volume environment
- Experience with database tools (e.g., Access) or workflow platforms (e.g., Smartsheet) is a plus

Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
