Job description

The Technology Department Summer Help will collaborate with the IT Department to execute a range of tasks focused on preparing student-issued devices for the upcoming academic year and providing support for summer school operations as needed., * Completing the Classroom Technology Summer Maintenance Checklist

  • Assist with summer school, as well as handle device handout/collection
  • Cleaning and updating laptops and Chromebooks
  • Configuring new devices for the upcoming school year
  • Transitioning senior devices to take them out of service
  • Transitioning 1st Grade Devices for reassignment back to K devices
  • Transporting equipment between district buildings
  • Setting up and repositioning iPad/Chromebook carts
  • Assisting teachers who moved with setting up their tech in the new classroom
  • Offering assistance for summer school activities as directed by the IT Director/Director of Instructional Technology/Help Desk Supervisor
  • Completing any additional responsibilities assigned by the IT Director/Director of Instructional Technology/Help Desk Supervisor

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM as needed
  • The final workday will be established based on the available workload.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements outlined here are essential for the successful execution of this role. The position necessitates prolonged periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach. The employee must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment.
