Job description
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to systems, software, and hardware.
- Deliver hands-on support to employees, both in-person and remotely, addressing a variety of technical needs.
- Perform hardware maintenance, including repairs, replacements, and upkeep of equipment such as printers and toner.
- Reinstall and configure software while managing access to hardware and software licenses.
- Administer user accounts by handling password resets, setting up new accounts, decommissioning users, and implementing policies.
- Manage and resolve tickets in ServiceDesk Plus, collaborating closely with the managing engineer and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide technical support for tools such as Outlook, Zoom, and other end-user applications.
- Address and resolve hardware-related issues for desktops, laptops, and printers.
Requirements
- Adapt to periods of increased ticket volume while maintaining efficiency and service quality. Requirements - A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume service desk environment, handling approximately 12 tickets per day.
- Proficiency in supporting end-user applications such as Outlook and Zoom.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting for devices like desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Familiarity with user provisioning, access management, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, with ServiceDesk Plus experience being a plus.
- Strong skills in Windows 10 and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication abilities to assist non-technical users effectively.
- Capacity to manage workload efficiently during peak periods or high-demand situations.
