Job description
A fortune 50 organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a long-term opportunity that will sit Hybrid onsite in Bengaluru India. Duties include the following:
Supporting digital product for business that allows sales analyses of various items Pull portfolio data of core items for analysis Design, develop, test and document data integrations and assist with deployment, validation and hyper care processes Maintain and support existing ETL/ELT integrations leveraging technical documentation Understand and navigate a wide array of source data systems (enterprise data warehouses, relational databases, IT systems, in house and COTS applications, documents, APIs, unstructured data, big data, NoSQL databases, etc.) Analyze data and assist with developing insights to enable business decision making Doing source mapping, building ETL pipelines using ADF pipelines in conjunction with T-SQL, integration between data platforms (50% building pipelines/50% integrations) Indexing and performance tuning of SQL server
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer 5+ years of experience with SQL and T-SQL 3+ years with azure data factory to build ETL pipelines 3+ years of experience with databricks 3+ years of experience with Python or PySpark scripting 3+ years of experience working with Azure environment Ability to work on various data structures from structured to unstructured (experience working on big data & AI workloads including Generative AI)
