Job description

The Network Platform Development team is expanding its large-scale testbeds, which are used to validate routers and network operating systems before deployment. This role is focused on the manual, physical tasks required to build and maintain these environments. The position involves the physical setup and decommissioning of equipment, which is critical to supporting the team's growing testing demands., * Perform physical cabling and ensure proper cable management within data center racks.

  • Handle the unboxing and racking of new devices and materials.
  • Execute the decommissioning and removal of old or retired equipment.
  • Assist in general lab optimization efforts and other physical tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working within a data center environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with racking and stacking of network or server hardware.
  • Proficiency in running and managing physical cabling., * Experience with fiber optics.
  • Familiarity with Linux.
  • Basic networking knowledge.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
