East Mississippi State Hospital (EMSH) is a state-operated psychiatric facility under the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, providing comprehensive inpatient mental health services to individuals across East Mississippi. About the Position Supervisory and managerial Information Technology position accountable for the design, security, availability, and performance of complex enterprise network infrastructure supporting East Mississippi State Hospital and affiliated facilities. This role serves as the senior network authority for multiple sites and provides leadership over network operations staff to ensure secure, reliable, and resilient connectivity for clinical, administrative, and statewide systems. The Network Infrastructure Specialist Team Lead is responsible for high-risk, high-impact infrastructure, portfolio oversight of network-dependent systems, vendor coordination, and enterprise cybersecurity readiness. What you'll need to be Successful To be successful in this role, the Network Infrastructure Specialist Team Lead must demonstrate advanced expertise in enterprise network design, security, and operations while providing effective technical leadership to network staff. This position requires the ability to manage high-risk, high-impact infrastructure, respond decisively to outages and cybersecurity incidents, and proactively plan for system scalability and resiliency. The incumbent must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while ensuring compliance with East Mississippi State Hospital (EMSH), Department of Mental Health (DMH), and Mississippi State Personnel Board (MSPB) requirements. Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8-10+ years of IT experience with emphasis on network operations and administration. - Agency Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and eight (8) to ten (10) or more years of progressive IT experience with emphasis on enterprise network operations and administration.
