Job description

This is a newly created leadership role for an experienced manufacturing ERP leader who wants real ownership and influence. The organization is investing heavily in modernizing its ERP and enterprise systems to support growth, acquisitions, and operational scalability-creating a rare opportunity to shape how technology enables the business.

You'll own the ERP-centric application landscape end-to-end, leading strategy while staying close to execution. This role is ideal for someone who has lived through plant operations, inventory complexity, process standardization, and post-acquisition ERP reality-and knows how to make systems work in the real world.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Own and evolve the enterprise applications ecosystem, with ERP at the core
  • Define and execute an ERP and applications roadmap aligned to manufacturing and operational strategy
  • Lead hands-on ERP configuration, enhancements, and support across:
  • Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay
  • Inventory, Warehouse, and Supply Chain Operations
  • Lead ERP modernization initiatives, including cloud ERP and platform upgrades
  • Own enterprise applications workstreams for acquisitions:
  • ERP migrations, consolidations, and system rationalization
  • Process alignment across plants, regions, and acquired entities

Requirements

  • Senior ERP leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply-chain-driven environments

  • Deep hands-on knowledge across core ERP domains (O2C, P2P, inventory, warehouse, finance)

  • Proven success leading ERP consolidations and post-merger integrations

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory flows, and operational dependencies

  • Experience integrating ERP platforms with ecommerce, SaaS, and planning systems

  • Working knowledge of EDI/B2B, APIs, middleware, or iPaaS solutions

  • Familiarity with K8, Navigator, or SPS Commerce ecosystems is helpful but not required Why manufacturing leaders are excited about this role

  • Fully remote with strong executive sponsorship

  • Strong influence over ERP direction, standards, and modernization

  • Front-row seat to acquisition integration and enterprise transformation

  • Opportunity to bring order and scalability to complex manufacturing systems

  • Clear runway for growth as technology becomes more centralized and strategic Requirements * Significant leadership experience managing ERP applications in manufacturing, distribution, or other operations-intensive environments.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of core ERP functions, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, warehouse operations, finance, and cost accounting.

  • Demonstrated success leading ERP consolidation efforts and supporting system integration work associated with acquisitions or organizational expansion.

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory movement, and the operational dependencies that influence system design.

  • Experience integrating ERP platforms with ecommerce systems, software-as-a-service applications, and supply chain or planning tools.

  • Working knowledge of integration methods and technologies such as APIs, middleware, iPaaS solutions, or B2B/EDI connectivity.

  • Familiarity with ERP modernization initiatives, including cloud environments, platform enhancements, or enterprise application transformation efforts.

  • Experience with tools or environments such as Epicor, ABAP, enterprise application integration, and supply chain systems is valued. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
