Job description
We are expanding an internal IT support team and seeking an Entry-Level Service Desk Technician to support a growing global user base. This role provides first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat and is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a large enterprise environment. This organization is transitioning Service Desk operations from a managed service partner back in-house and is investing in long-term career paths, including tiered support and infrastructure growth opportunities.
Shift Options
Candidates must be able to work one of the following schedules after training:
- Monday - Friday: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Tuesday - Sunday: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, * Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and chat
- Log, track, and manage incidents using ServiceNow
- Troubleshoot common issues related to:
- Office 365 / O365 (increased volume due to ongoing migration)
- Microsoft applications (Outlook, Office, Windows 10)
- Active Directory (password resets, access requests)
- Hardware and break/fix issues
- SAP-related user issues
- Escalate issues appropriately while delivering strong customer service
- Support end users with access requests and general IT inquiries
Requirements
- Help Desk or Service Desk support experience (academic, internship, or professional)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic technical troubleshooting ability
- Familiarity with:
- Office 365 / O365
- Active Directory
- Windows 10
- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Comfort providing phone-based technical support, * Experience in an enterprise IT environment
- Exposure to SAP
- Hands-on experience with hardware and printer troubleshooting

This is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
