Job description

Setup, configure, monitor and maintain user computers, printers, copiers, scanners, plotters

Asset tracking and records Maintenance - Keep track of the asset additions, movements, working condition, decommissioning and maintain IT asset register, software inventory

Monitor the current requirements and estimate the future needs and produce capacity expansion/reduction reports for servers, storage, network and peripherals

Participate in procurement of hardware/software -Provide technical support to Procurement team for the in a timely manner to assist the procurement process for MIS items

Do data (file/database/applications) and system configuration backups and implement disaster recovery measures

Maintain user permissions and application security, event investigations and compliance enforcement. Building access.

Perform hardware setup, software installation/configuration, and the day-to-day administration of Microsoft operating systems and related services

Maintaining comprehensive documentation. System administrators need to keep track of the usage of IT assets. To prepare for potential IT investments and enhancements, they record end-user demands, company specifications, and, if necessary, recurring IT issues.
