The Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) works as a hands-on Application Developer within the FI$Cal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, with a primary focus on PeopleSoft Financials. This is a coding position responsible for writing and maintaining application logic using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Structured Query Language (SQL), Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, and API-based integrations. The incumbent performs developer unit testing, analyzes production defects at the code level, and delivers permanent technical fixes that improve system stability, performance, and data integrity.
This is a hands-on software development role centered on ERP enhancements and incident requests that require PeopleCode and extensive SQL work. Although the main focus is software development, the position may include tasks in other IT areas when needed.
Please note that to be list appointed for placement in the Information Technology Specialist I classification, you must take and pass the examination.

This position is located in the Information Technology Division (ITD), whose core mission is to provide a reliable, quality solution to customers and partners and maintain the highest level of security. Professional working experience in Application Programming.

Professional working experience in Application Production Support.

Working experience with PeopleSoft Development or Enterprise Release Planning (ERP).

Working experience in developing integrated applications in a cloud environment.

At FI$Cal, we currently offer a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework up to three days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change.
