As a Solution Strategist, you'll help lead that effort - setting solution vision, shaping strategic roadmaps, and guiding the development of scalable, agnostic platforms that support providers across the care continuum. This role is ideal for a product leader coming from healthcare SaaS or consulting who enjoys operating at both the strategic and execution levels. You'll work closely with Engineering and gotomarket partners to turn client insights, market signals, and regulatory requirements into clear product direction, while ensuring alignment with FHIR, HL7, and ONC Certification standards. This position is onsite in Overland Park, KS.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate requirements for current and future solution development by conducting internal and external stakeholder, client, competitive analysis and market research.
- Conceptualize, prioritize, and write succinct requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for one or more of our solutions.
- Communicate solution strategy, plans and roadmaps to key stakeholders utilizing solution management tools and processes
- Work closely with Engineering to manage solution roadmap and scope through detailed requirements and prototypes in a timely and cost-effective manner based upon a detailed understanding of needs, requirements and resources.
- Collaborate with Support, Sales, and Marketing in development of go-to-market and demand generation strategies including feature descriptions, sales demos, solution training and new release content.
- Promote innovation and differentiation from competition by collecting quantitative solution data(utilization analytics and user engagement tools)and metrics through market research or competitive analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
- At least 3 years of healthcare software consulting, information technology or solution functionality equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of software related project experience
- Experience with HL7 frameworks
- Results-driven with great communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with software features and functions through reading and applying or writing requirements.
- Experience managing communication and relationships with clients
- Ability to research, analyze and prioritize functionality and requirements.
