Data Scientist

This Data Scientist supports DTE's Gas Leak Management team by pulling data from Picarro and other enterprise systems, analyzing leak and spend data, and building Power BI dashboards that drive operational efficiency, regulatory reporting, and capital planning decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science) OR 3+ years of experience in a data analytics, data science, or programming role

• Strong experience performing advanced data analysis, including cost benefit analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, what if analysis, and impact analysis

• Strong understanding of Power BI data models, data extraction, and dashboard intelligence

• Eager to learn and grow in a data driven environment!!

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely relay findings to field supervisors and business partners

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
