About the team You will be joining the Network Services Team within the IT Operations Service. The team is made up of a Technology Group who work very hard to supply a secure, stable and reliable IT infrastructure, not only for the organisation and its, The role involves leading the support, maintenance, and development of the Telephony & Unified Communications infrastructure to ensure a reliable and resilient IT environment for the organization. Responsibilities include driving technical, innovative, and cultural change while motivating technical teams.

About You To apply for this post, you must: Come with an NVQ level 4 (degree or equivalent), and have experience of working at a senior technical level in a large IT setting. Have a strong knowledge in IT Service Management principles and have experience of working in an environment governed by KPI's, SLA's and OLA's. Have a flare for technical innovation and demonstrate your experience in managing and developing a range of technology stacks in line with best practise and manufacturer lifecycle & roadmaps. Demonstrate your ability to be the subject matter expert in the Telephony & Unified Communications space in a large Microsoft / Wintel based infrastructure. Be able to demonstrate your experience in working as part of large project teams to solve complex problems and deliver successful outcomes. Know how to communicate with senior leaders, team managers, other team leaders, service users (both internally and externally) as well as key suppliers and partners. Have knowledge of good analytical/problem-solving skills, numerate and strong technical flair.
