Strategic Oversight: Lead the Enterprise Technology QA Team on high-impact software development projects, managing the testing lifecycle for multiple concurrent workstreams.
Project Leadership: Direct and manage manual testing efforts across various business units, ensuring all deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
Test Strategy & Design: Architect comprehensive test plans and sophisticated manual testing strategies that validate logic, error handling, and complex system workflows.
Defect Governance: Oversee the isolation, reproduction, and tracking of defects, ensuring clear communication between QA and Development teams for rapid resolution.
Requirement Analysis: Drive Requirements reviews (Business, Technical, Functional, and Design) and provide high-level estimates for resource allocation and project milestones.
Environment Management: Lead the validation of changes across multiple test environments, ensuring connectivity and readiness for various QA phases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Automation Engineers and DevOps to bridge the gap between manual and automated testing, ensuring a holistic quality approach.
Policy & Process Improvement: Develop and refine quality control policies, identify software production limitations, and spearhead initiatives to optimize the QA lifecycle.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and daily direction to junior and mid-level testers, acting as the primary point of contact for complex troubleshooting.
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Quality Delivery: Utilize advanced QA methodologies to ensure products meet client specifications with minimal defects, staying strictly on-time and on-budget.
- Post-Implementation Support: Lead post-implementation validation and coordinate testing support with the Line of Business (LOB).
- Training & Development: Design and lead training programs for testers on all systems, applications, and specialized tools used for QA operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Remain up-to-date on credit union policies, financial industry regulations, and emerging QA trends.

This is a project-focused leadership role-you'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and the primary coordinator for our testing workstreams, helping our team deliver quality results on time, every time.

Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a Lead capacity, with a proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Technical Foundation: Deep expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and advanced Manual QA methodologies.

Tool Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Project (or similar project management software).
