- Lead technical solutioning for cloud-based federal opportunities, including application modernization, migration strategies, platform engineering, and shared services.\n
- Directly influence and help drive technical wins by defining cloud architecture discriminators, leading customer-facing architecture sessions, workshops, and whiteboarding engagements, and translating cloud capabilities into mission, performance, and cost outcomes.\n
- Partner with Business Development and Capture to shape opportunities pre-RFP and present and defend cloud architectures to technical and executive stakeholders.\n
\n \nAI-Enabled Engineering (Required)\n \n \n
- Aleut Federal expects AI to be embedded into cloud solutions as a core capability for both growth and delivery.\n
- Design and support AI-enabled cloud architectures, including scalable data processing, model hosting, API-based AI services, and AI-enabled automation and operational optimization.\n
- Leverage native cloud AI services and integrate external AI platforms where appropriate.\n
- Support orchestration of AI-driven workflows within cloud environments and enable multi-step processing and decision pipelines.\n
- Required: experience working with AI/ML services within cloud environments. Strongly preferred for Senior Principal: delivery of AI-enabled cloud architectures in production with measurable outcomes.\n
- Ensure AI implementations align with federal requirements for security, compliance, transparency, and auditability.\n
\n \nCapture, Proposal & Pricing\n \n \n
- Lead and contribute to technical proposal development for cloud opportunities.\n
- Author and own complete technical sections, including cloud architecture, landing zones, migration and modernization strategy, and security and governance models.\n
- Build BOEs aligned to infrastructure cost, migration effort, and operational overhead.\n
- Ensure solutions are executable, cost-efficient, and differentiated.\n
\n \nDelivery Assurance & Technical QA\n \n \n
- Ensure alignment between proposed cloud architectures and delivered implementations.\n
- Provide technical oversight during migration, environment setup, deployment, and scaling.\n
- Identify and mitigate risks related to security, compliance, cost overruns, performance, and scalability.\n
\n \nTechnical Marketing, Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement\n \n \n
- Develop cloud-focused solution briefs, reference architectures, and capability messaging.\n
- Actively participate in external engagements, including industry events, customer briefings, and technical forums, and be willing to speak on modernization strategies and architecture patterns.\n
