Antenna Design Engineer in Newmarket

Please note this role is a 12 month FTC with future possibility of permanent employment.

Hybrid working available: Minimum 2 days onsite per week

We are seeking an Antenna Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering innovative antenna and RF solutions.

You will be involved across the full product development lifecycle, from early bid support and requirements capture, through concept and simulation, to prototyping, verification, and production handover.

This is a hands-on role offering exposure to design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing within a supportive team environment., * Design and develop antenna and RF products

• Support new product development from concept through to production
• Perform requirements analysis and contribute to system-level design
• Conduct RF testing, validation, and optimisation
• Maintain and improve RF test facilities
• Produce technical documentation and design reports
• Support PCB design activities where required

• Strong understanding of RF theory
• Solid grounding in electromagnetic and circuit theory
• Experience in antenna design and passive RF/microwave circuit design
• Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. CST, FEKO, HFSS)
• Experience using RF test and measurement equipment such as:
• Vector Network Analysers (VNA)
• Spectrum Analysers
• Experience working with antenna test ranges / anechoic chambers
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline (minimum HNC or equivalent considered)
• Competent IT skills (MS Office and general PC use)
