Job description
As a Functional Application Manager, you are responsible for managing, optimizing, and continuously improving applications that support asset planning and performance within a high-voltage grid environment. You ensure that systems and data solutions align with both operational and strategic business needs, while maintaining stability, data quality, and usability.
This is an individual contributor role focused on functional expertise, process optimization, and data-driven improvements within a complex, asset-intensive environment., * Manage and optimize application performance, configuration, and lifecycle, with a strong focus on planning tools (especially Primavera).
- Translate business requirements into functional improvements and coordinate implementation with IT teams and vendors.
- Provide user support, handle incidents, and promote best practices in application usage.
- Ensure data quality, analyze planning data, and deliver actionable insights.
- Maintain system stability, integrations, and compliance with standards.
- Improve and streamline planning processes, tools, and functional solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for planning applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in functional application management.
- Strong expertise in enterprise planning/scheduling applications, specifically Primavera (mandatory).
- Solid Business-IT understanding with the ability to translate business processes into system improvements.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience with system integrations, testing, upgrades, and change management.
- Proven stakeholder management and advisory experience in complex environments.
- Dutch language skills are a plus.

Practical Information
- Location: Hybrid (50% on-site; mandatory office days midweek).
- Preferred availability: 36 hours per week.
- Screening: Pre-employment screening and Certificate of Conduct required.
