- Analyse and resolve incidents and support change requests.
- Assist in improvements and implementations within ERP, Finance and HR systems.
- Actively communicate with stakeholders (e.g. Finance and HR teams) to understand issues and requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional solutions with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Ensure clear and structured documentation of processes, solutions, and configurations.
- Collaborate with international teams to align systems and processes.
- Manage our software suppliers to deliver according to schedule and agreements.
Requirements
As a Junior Functional Application Manager, you will be part of the Shared Services team, with a primary focus on Finance and HR processes and software solutions. You will support and improve enterprise applications such as ERP and HR systems, working in an international environment where English is the primary working language.
In this role, strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with business users and translate their needs into effective IT solutions., * 0-3 years of work experience (including internships) in IT, Business IT, or a related field;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders;
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
- An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills;
- Interest in Finance and HR processes and supporting systems;
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

- Comfortable taking initiative and asking questions.
It's a plus if you also bring
- Fluency in Dutch and/or Chinese;
- Basic knowledge of ERP or HR systems (e.g. SAP, Isah, or AFAS);
- Affinity with Finance, HR, or payroll processes;
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or ITIL;
- Interest in process optimization and digital transformation.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing
