Job description
Lead end-to-end design and development of a scalable, secure Risk platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Java and Spring Boot. Design, build, and enhance back-end APIs and front-end user experiences using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to support deployment and ongoing operations. Optimize platform performance, reliability, and user experience through reusable components, analytics integration, and localization support. Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in code quality, testing, security, and performance optimization. Partner with product owners and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and drive innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 15+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java and full-stack development. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, and cloud-native application design. Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, REST API development, modern front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript), and CI/CD tools within an Agile environment.
