Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, PySpark, and GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery. Extract, transform, and load large-volume datasets from diverse sources while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability through robust testing and validation. Implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation processes, including writing advanced SQL/BigQuery queries for performance-efficient data modeling. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle-from ingestion to transformation, storage, archiving, and deletion-while adhering to cloud security and compliance standards. Utilize Git for version control, develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and troubleshoot/debug existing ETL workflows to enhance system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused engineering role. Proven expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and GCP technologies (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc). Strong understanding of ETL best practices with the ability to develop efficient, secure, and reliable data ingestion and transformation solutions.

Benefits & conditions
